Pakistani television actress and model Saba Qamar was taken to a private hospital today after experiencing chest pain.
A team of doctors, including senior cardiologist Dr. Mumtaz Shah, conducted her medical examination. After evaluation and necessary treatment, she was discharged once her condition improved.
Hospital sources confirmed that Saba Qamar is now in stable condition and has fully recovered.
Saba Qamar is one of Pakistan’s most acclaimed actresses, known for her versatility and powerful screen presence.
She began her career in television with the drama Main Aurat Hoon in 2005 and quickly rose to fame through standout performances in hit serials like Dastaan, Maat, Pani Jaisa Piyar, and Baaghi. Her portrayal of Qandeel Baloch in Baaghi earned her widespread praise for highlighting societal hypocrisy and women’s struggles in Pakistan.
In addition to her television success, Saba made a strong impact in films. She debuted in Bollywood opposite Irrfan Khan in Hindi Medium (2017), a satirical drama that was both a commercial and critical success. Her performance received rave reviews in both India and Pakistan. In the local film industry, she appeared in Lahore Se Aagey and Kamli, with the latter cementing her reputation as one of the finest actresses of her generation.
Beyond acting, Saba Qamar has also worked as a model and host, and she is known for using her platform to speak on social issues, women’s rights, and mental health.
