Following the fiscal policies announced under Pakistan’s Finance Act 2025, supported by fresh SROs, the government has revised downward the total incidence of duties on imported vehicles. These reductions include key components such as Customs Duty (CD), Regulatory Duty (RD), and Additional Customs Duty (ACD)—with ACD dropping from 7% to 6%.
While earlier discussions have focused on percentage-based reductions in taxation, the real impact is now clearly visible in retail pricing—particularly for high-end imported SUVs like the Toyota Land Cruiser
LC300, LC200, Prado LC150, Lexus LX570 and Lexus LX600. The drop in total import duties has translated directly into savings for consumers.
